You asked, and we listened. You can now easily customize all of your contracts on Wethos. We know every project is different, and this new set of features will allow you to easily adjust the level of detail shown in each scope while giving you the option to adjust contract language to fit each project’s needs.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Select your contract terms
Add the contract language you want to your scope and leave out the rest. With just a few clicks you can decide which terms to include and edit the language from there.
Step 2: Choose the level of detail for the scope
In the live preview view, easily control the level of detail your client sees by choosing whether or not to include descriptions, prices, and units at the service and phase level. You know clients love to get stuck on every line item, this should help fix that.
Step 3: Add your final touches
With just a few clicks choose from two pdf styles, select your logo image size, adjust the size of the header and body text, and select the font you’d like featured in your scope.
Step 4: Download your custom scope
Hit download to see your terms and PDF view settings reflected in the exported scope. And just like that, your scope is signature ready.
What else is new?
We're saying goodbye to the Management Fee, originally a 25% fee taken from the total project cost and paid out to the Studio Lead. We recognize this isn't a standard addition across all scopes and have instead included it as a service that you can search for in the scoping tool and add to the projects that make sense.
Send Scope for Client Signature
We also removed the HelloSign Integration that allowed Studio Leads to send a scope of work directly to a client for signature through the platform. Now that you can fully customize the sections of the scope, you can download and share the document along with any other materials of your proposal to share with your client.
Though we've removed these items, we're always open to new ideas about how to improve. If you have any questions or additional requests based on this release, please email [email protected]. If you have any questions about our product roadmap, see what we're building here.
