Put your best foot forward with your profile!

Once you've signed up and confirmed your email address, you'll have access to view and make edits to your profile. You can start by completing your profile card, adding work samples, and tagging yourself with different industries, tools, services, causes, and languages.

Once your profile has the necessary fields completed, it'll look something like this:

Note: To start, your profile will only be viewable by Wethos staff members. Once your profile is complete, you'll be given the option to make your profile visible to others within the Wethos community.


Edit your Profile

You can edit your profile in the following areas:

  1. General information about you

  2. Professional experience

  3. Work samples and resume

  4. Set your visibility preferences

  5. Change your availability to reflect your current status

1. Edit General Information About You

You can view the general information about you by clicking the "Edit Profile" button and navigating to the "Card" section.

There you will be able to make changes to your...

  • Profile Picture, uploading an image, selecting an emoji, or choosing a solid color (feel free to use a HEX code if you have it handy!)

  • Personal Attributes like the pronunciation of your name and pronouns.

  • Location and Socials by typing in your location and selecting from the dropdown menu or copy/pasting the unique URLs from the social channels you'd like to include.

  • Short bio to elaborate on your background, experience, or how to best get in touch.

  • What you're hoping to get out of Wethos to let the team know your reasons for joining the platform!

Click the "Save" button to confirm the changes or exit out of the window without making any changes by clicking "Cancel" or the "X" at the top right of the window.

2. Update Professional Experience

You can view your professional experience by clicking the "Edit Profile" button and navigating to the "Tags" section.

There you can make changes to the information that you input during the sign-up process, including...

  • Services by selecting up to 15 from the list of services that are associated with the roles you selected.

  • Tools by showcasing your level of knowledge from an expert, to proficient, to beginner across different tools and platforms.

  • Industries by detailing the range of years you've spent working in different industries.

  • Causes and languages by specifying your interest and expertise.

  • Why you joined Wethos by updating your original selection.

Click the "Save" button to confirm the changes or exit out of the window without making any changes by clicking "Cancel" or the "X" at the top right of the window.

3. Add Work Samples and a Resume

You can view your work samples and resume by clicking the "Edit Profile" button and navigating to the "Work" section.

There you can make changes by...

  • Uploading your resume as a PDF

  • Adding high-quality images or videos by sharing the YouTube or Vimeo link

  • Adding links to a website or work sample by sharing the direct URL

Click the "Save" button to confirm the changes or exit out of the window without making any changes by clicking "Cancel" or the "X" at the top right of the window.

4. Set your Visibility Preferences

Underneath your profile card on the left side of the screen are your Visibility settings. These will only be enabled once you have completed your profile card. Using the toggle, choose between being visible to "anyone on Wethos" or "no one."

Below your visibility, underneath the headline "Get Discovered on Wethos," there are three boxes that must be checked in order to be discoverable on Wethos.

5. Change your Availability to Reflect your Current Status

Once your profile card is completely filled out, set your availability and project preferences at the top of the screen. Choose from the drop-down menus so other Wethos users can see your status and preferences.

After selecting that you are available from the drop-down menu, you can set your preferred compensation and project-type.
