You can and should link any US bank accounts that are connected to your business transactions, including business expenses. That's the best way to account for all your tax liabilities.
2. How do I link an external bank account(s) to my Wethos Payments Account?
Traditional bank accounts
Click “add account” to begin adding a linked bank account.
You have two choices for linking your bank account:
Automatically connect your bank account with our Plaid integration, choosing your bank from a list. Note that with this option you can withdraw and deposit money between the two accounts once linked.
Manually add your bank with a valid account and routing number. Note that with this method, you can only withdraw money from your Wethos Payments Account to the linked bank account, you can’t use the "transfer" option to deposit money from your linked bank account to your Wethos Payments Account. You are able to receive client and teammate payments as normal.
Link automatically using Plaid:
A screen will pop up for you to log in to your bank account with your username and password.
Your bank may send you a security code to verify your identity either via email, text, or a phone call, whichever you choose.
Once your account is linked, you’ll be prompted to transfer money into your Wethos Payments Account.
Enter your name (the name that is connected to your bank account), your account number, your routing number, and the account type you wish to link.
Confirm that this information is correct before linking.
Once your account is linked, you’ll be able to receive client payments, teammate payments, or withdraw money from the available balance in your payments account.
