As a Wethos Pro ⚡️ user, you have unlimited access to save contract term templates that you create or from the Wethos library of contract terms that are needed for your studio. By adding contract terms to your Templates, you can easily quick-add them into your proposals. Let’s get started with a step-by-step on how you can create your personal contract term Templates!

Where can you create custom contract terms?

To view any existing contract terms you may have already added to your templates, click the “My Templates” page, found on the left side navigation menu. Select the “contract terms” tab on the top of the My Templates page to view and edit any previously saved terms.

Like services, contract terms that are added to your Templates can be easily added to the proposals that you are building.

If this is your first contract term in your Templates, you’ll be prompted to “add your first contract term”. You can either create one from scratch or choose from Wethos’ Contract Term Templates Library. You also have the option to use our new AI contract term generator to help save you time and give you confidence that you are providing your client with comprehensive and professional contract terms tailored to your specific project needs.

Keep in mind that in order to add or save a contract term, you will need to be a Wethos Pro subscriber.

Create your custom contract terms that fit the needs of your studio by simply selecting the “From Scratch” option and getting started.

If you are looking to get an AI-generated contract term, select the “Generate with AI” option and you will see a popup to add the details of what you are looking for. Once you are ready, select “generate” and BOOM, you have a fully customizable contract term to add to your library.

Once you’ve added all the details for your contract terms, select “save changes” and the contract term will be added to your templates for future use.

If you need to make changes to a contract term that you've previously added to your Templates, simply navigate to your Contract Terms Templates and select the term you want to edit. Click on "edit contract term" to open up the editing options, where you can update the details of the term as needed.

Once you've made your changes, don't forget to click "save changes" to update the contract term in your Templates.

Within your Proposal Builder, you can easily add any saved contract terms from the templates library, create one from scratch, or use the AI contract term generator to add new contract terms to your project’s proposal.

Scroll down to the Contract Terms section of the proposal builder and toggle on the contract terms section.

If you select the “Add from Library” option, this will open up your Contract Terms Templates within the proposal builder. You'll be able to choose between using Wethos Templates or any terms you've saved to your Templates. If you’re a Wethos Starter user, you’ll only be able to create new terms from scratch and add them to your proposal.

Once you've located the contract term you want to add, simply select the plus sign next to it and the term will automatically be added to your proposal.

If you select the “Generate with AI” option, this will open up the contract terms AI generator and you can add the details you would like to see added to your contract term for our AI tool to build you a comprehensive and professional contract term. Once you are ready, select generate and you can edit any details that the AI generator provides you. Select save changes and you are all set with your brand new contract term.

Don’t forget that you can add any AI-generated or custom contract terms directly in your Contract Terms Templates before or after adding them to your proposals. That way, you can easily access and reuse them in future projects without the need to recreate them each time.

It's important to note that unlike services, any custom contract terms that you create from within the proposal builder will not be saved to your Templates. This means that if you want to use the same contract term in a future project, you'll need to recreate it from scratch again.

To avoid this, it's a good practice to create any custom contract terms directly in your Contract Terms Templates before adding them to your proposals. That way, you can easily access and reuse them in future projects without the need to recreate them each time.
