What is an admin? An admin is a team member that’s been added to your Team account. They’ll have access to work out of your Team account and can handle their own projects from proposal updates to sending invoices, so you can ship projects faster with full visibility of your team’s pipeline. However, there are some limitations as to what they can view in the Team account. You can learn more about what views and permissions an admin seat has in our detailed Help Center article HERE.

How to add an admin to your Wethos Teams:

Once you have upgraded your account to Wethos Teams, adding your teammates is simple.

Head over to your account settings and scroll down to the “Team” section. If you have already added teammates to your account, this will be the section where you can see who is part of your team, if you have any outstanding pending invites, and where you can manage who is in each of the Team seats.

Once you are here, select “assign seat” to add a new teammate to your Team account. On the pop-up screen, enter your team member’s name and email address, and click “Send invite.”

Your teammate will receive an email invite to create a Wethos account.

It’s important to note that your team member must click the link in the invite email to sign up for the Wethos account. If they don’t use that link, their created account won’t be linked to your Team account. If this happens, please reach out to [email protected] for assistance.

Once your team members have signed up via the link they received, they’ll automatically be added to your Wethos Team account.

If your teammate already has a Wethos account with the email address you’re trying to invite, you will get a notification that their email address already exists in our system, and you’ll need to use a different email address when inviting them.

Your Wethos Teams will automatically give you access to 3 seats, one of which will be occupied by you, the owner, and 2 admin seats to add your teammates. If you need to add more seats, please contact [email protected], and we would be more than happy to provide you with more information on this.

Resending an invite to your Teammate:

There are times when you may need to nudge your team members to accept your invite and create their admin account. You can easily send them an invite reminder from within your account!

Head over to your Team section in the account settings and find the teammate with the pending invite. Click on the ellipses next to their name and select “resend invite.” Clicking Resend invite will resend the email invite to your team member and bring the invite to the top of their inbox.

Removing a User from your Wethos Teams Account:

Just like adding an admin to your account, removing an admin is just as simple. Within the “Team” section of your account settings, you can find a list of your connected team members. To remove a team member from a seat, click on the ellipses next to the name of the teammate you wish to remove and select “remove user.” A follow-up message will appear asking you to confirm if you wish to remove this user; select “remove user” once more and this will complete the action.

Once an admin has been removed from the account, you’ll have the option to assign the seat to any other team members you might want to invite to the platform.

After removing a team member, they will no longer have access to the Team account or projects and will be met with the following page when they attempt to log in.
