When is Wethos shutting down?
Wethos will officially shut down on April 30th, 2025. After this date, you will no longer be able to access your account, proposals, or other saved data.
How can I download my data before the shutdown?
To ensure you don’t lose any important information, we recommend downloading your proposals, invoices, and any other relevant data before April 30th, 2025. Here’s how:
Downloading invoices in bulk:
Log in and navigate to your invoices
Scroll down to your invoice table, and click the download icon next to the invoice status filter
This will download a CSV of your full table of historical invoices
Downloading individual invoices:
Hover over an individual invoice from your invoice table or project tab
Click the “...” icon for more options and select “download PDF”
Downloading individual proposals
Navigate to your project tab and select an individual project from the table
Once on your project overview page, select the “Proposal” tab
Click the “...” icon to reveal more options and select “download”
A PDF of your proposal will be downloaded

What happens to my client data and proposals after the shutdown?
After the shutdown, all data will be deleted permanently, including any of your personal data. Although there is no way to download your proposals or clients in bulk, we recommend downloading your individual proposals for your records.
What happens to my invoices or proposals that are currently out with clients?
If you want to continue to use Wethos while it’s available, we recommend you download invoices and proposals as PDFs to share with your client rather than using share links.
If you’ve already shared a link with your client and they try to access it after the shutdown, it will redirect them to wethos.co with more information about the shutdown.
Recurring invoices or those scheduled for dates after April 30 will not be sent, so either download future invoices to send manually via email or migrate to a new platform before that date.
To keep a record of your signed proposals you should download the PDF before April 30th
Can I get a refund for my subscription?
Yes. If you have an active Wethos Pro subscription, you may be eligible for a prorated refund. To request a refund, please email [email protected] with your account details.
When will my automatic subscription payments stop?
We will be cancelling all subscriptions as of April 30th, so you won’t be billed again after that date. You’re also welcome to log into your account and cancel your own subscription any time before April 30th, but we recommend you download your data before you do so.
What alternatives are available for freelancers looking for similar tools?
While we’re sad to close our doors, we want to help you transition smoothly. There are several platforms that offer similar proposal tools, such as Bonsai and Honeybook. We’re not able to offer migration support at this time so you will be fully responsible for your own data transfer to a new platform before April 30th.
