Updating your Wethos account details.

Access your Account Settings by logging into teams.wethos.co and clicking on your icon on the top right.

Select "Account Settings," from the top right corner. Here you'll be able to view and edit your account details.

What are the areas that you can edit in your account settings:

1. Add Your Personalized Branding

Customize your Studio and make it your own. Whether you’re a Wethos Starter or Wethos Pro user, you’ll be able to add a personalized Brand Logo and Business Name.

As a Wethos Pro user, you will now have the option to change the font and brand color of your proposals and invoices to add a personalized touch to your work.

Keep in mind that adding branding can also be done while working on your proposals.

2. Manage your Wethos Team Admins

If you have upgraded your account to Wethos Team, you'll have full control of who has access to your account from here. Add or remove your admins with the click of a button and make sure that your team stays connected.

3. Enabling Accepted Payment Methods

As a Wethos Pro or Wetos Team user, you can now enable your favorite payment methods to be included in your invoices and offer flexibility in your payment acceptance for you and your clients. Simply add the information required for each payment method and select "save &enable". Learn more on how you can activate your payment methods HERE.

4. Manage your Wethos Subscription Plan

You can make changes to your subscription from the Account Settings page, including switching from monthly to annual billing. Please visit our Managing Your Wethos Plan article to get a more detailed overview of the subscription actions you can take from this page

5. Your first and last name

Make updates to your first and last name by clicking the pencil icon in the "Account Information" box and updating those fields directly.

Click the checkmark to save and confirm the changes.

6. Your mailing list preferences

In Account Settings, you will be able to update the email address where you wish to receive Wethos notifications. This is the email address where you’ll get any information related to your account, transactions, and marketing notifications. This can be a different email address than the one you use to sign in with.

Every time you update your notification email, you’ll be prompted to verify the new email address. Please make sure you verify your new email address immediately otherwise your update will not be saved.

You'll notice that you cannot make edits directly to your username (login email address). To make any changes to your login email address please reach out to [email protected] and include the email address you'd like to swap it with. Our team will confirm the change with you and your new email address will become the email you use to sign in.

If you signed up for an account using the “continue with Google” flow, you will not be able to change your login email address. You must continue to access your account using “continue with Google”. You also will not be able to update your password when using this signing method as it is directly connected to your Gmail login information.

The first box refers to our traditional mailing list including news about our blog, company-wide happenings, and announcements.

The second box refers to the User Research Club, a group of users within the community who are invited to casually engage in testing different features and aspects of the platform.

Regardless of the box you select, you'll receive account-level emails from Wethos from time to time.

If you have not yet done so, you’ll be required to verify your email address to make any changes to these preferences.

Click the "Save" button to confirm the changes.

7. Your password

Did you sign up for Wethos by selecting the “Continue with Google” option?, if so, you'll need to change your password on Gmail.

In Account Settings, change your password by clicking the "change password" button at the bottom of the page.

You'll be prompted to enter your old password and a new password twice for verification.

*Ensure that your password meets the minimum character and symbol requirements before clicking the "Change Password" button to confirm the changes or exit out of the window without making any changes by clicking "Cancel."

8. Your phone number

Simply click on the phone number field and begin typing the phone number you'd like to use as verification for your account. You will be asked to verify this new phone number before the change is processed.

9. Two-Factor Authentication:

In order to keep your account secure, we recommend enabling the Two-Factor Authentication feature. This is our preferred security measure and you can easily enable it by clicking on the toggle button under the Two-Factor Authentication option.

You will be asked to provide the verification code every time you refresh your page. However, you can click on “Remember this device for 30 days” and you will not have to go through this process again for 30 days.
