Compromised Accounts
If your account’s been compromised, you may have:
Observed account behaviors that you didn’t make or approve
Received a notification from us stating that your account may be compromised
Received a notification from us stating that your account information has changed, and you didn’t change it
Noticed your password is no longer working and you’re being prompted to reset it
If you’ve answered yes to any of the above, please do the following:
Change your password: Please change your password immediately in your settings. Please select a strong password that you haven’t used before. If you can’t log in, your account may have been hacked.
Ensure your email address is secure: Make sure that the email address you use to access your account is secure and that you’re the only one with access to it. Visit this article for more information on updating your email address.
After completing these steps, your account should now be secure and you shouldn’t see unexpected platform behaviors moving forward. If you’re still experiencing issues, please contact our Customer Experience team via the support chat or by emailing [email protected].
Hacked Accounts
If you think you’ve been hacked and you’re unable to log in with your login credentials, please request a password reset using the "forgot password" button upon sign-in.
If you are still running into issues, email [email protected] to reset your password. We will verify your identity through the email address you associated with the hacked account. We’ll send additional information and instructions to that email address. Be sure to include the date you last had access to your account.
If you’re able to log in after your password’s been reset, check if your account has been compromised through the steps above and re-secure your account.
