Within the Wethos network, you can connect with other members to increase your profile’s visibility which, in turn, enhances your chances of finding potential contractors and discovering more project opportunities. You can also connect with potential contractors to discuss project opportunities or contact others to set up a coffee chat for mutual learning and networking.

Check out our detailed video on Wethos' Network or scroll down to view our detailed article on connecting with others.

How to Connect

With Wethos Pro, you can easily initiate connections within the platform.

  1. Browse the Network: Scroll through the Wethos Network to see if you come across someone you believe would be a valuable addition to your network or a great fit for an upcoming project.

  2. Send a Connection Request: On the person's profile, locate the "Connect" button. Click it, and we'll automatically send them a connection request on your behalf.

Receiving a connection request

Both Pro and Starter users can receive connection requests from Pro users in the Network. When a request connection is sent, the person who is receiving the request will see the following in the platform:

As the receiver of a connection request, you have the option to either accept or ignore it. Ignoring the request means you've chosen not to connect with that person.

If you’re not ready to decide right away, you can always close out of the pop up by clicking the ‘x’ in the top right.

Once you accept the request, you’ll be able to see in the top right corner of their profile that you’re connected to them.

If at any time you want to unconnect, just click on the ellipses next to the connection’s name and select “remove connection”

How to Contact Users

As a Wethos Pro user, you’ll also have the option to contact other members of the Wethos Network. Here's how to do so:

If you’re already connected to someone, you’ll see the main button is “Get in touch”

If you’re trying to contact someone that you haven’t connected with, you’ll see the Get in touch button next to the connect button:

When you click on get in touch, you'll see a pop up that gives you the option to either choose one of our templated messages or draft your own!

Once you’re ready to send your message, hit the send button and we’ll deliver it.

When the network user responds, we’ll send their response directly to the verified email address we have on file for you. If you want to change the email address we use for communications, feel free to check out this help center article on updating your email address
