Create an invoice from within a project or from the Invoices page. Within the invoice builder, you have the ability to apply discounts in a few different ways.
1. A negative line item
Within the Items section, select Add a custom line item. Make the price on any line item a negative dollar amount to account for any specific discount you’d like to give.
*Note that invoices can not total to a negative amount.*
2. Total percentage discount
Within the Discount section, select the % symbol, add a title (if you like), and the percentage you’d like discounted off the total invoice amount. Your indicated percentage will automatically be applied to the overall invoice total.
3. Total dollar discount
Within the Discount section, select the $ symbol, add a title (if you like), and the dollar amount you’d like subtracted from your overall invoice.
View the total discounted amount on the right side of the invoice builder. Preview how discounts will show by previewing your invoice or sending yourself a copy before sending it to your client.
