As a Wethos Starter user, you will be able to create one project either from a template or from scratch. As a Wethos Pro user, you’ll have unlimited access to all of the features Wethos has to offer, including creating unlimited projects and proposals. Learn more about the different features that Wethos Pro has to offer here.

When you create a Project on Wethos, you’ll notice that it’s made up of 3 fundamental building blocks:

  1. Project Overview

  2. Proposals

  3. Invoices

  4. Budget

All 4 of these components are housed in one section to help keep your work for each project organized.

Project Overview

The project overview tab provides you with a breakdown of your project including your invoices, your proposal by phase, a calendar with all of your project events, your client contact info, and a box to include your project duration. We wanted to make it even easier to manage your projects with an overview page, getting the most important details of your project right when you access the project. While you can always toggle between the tabs at the top of the page, each box in this tab will also redirect you to the section that you are looking for, allowing for a smooth transition from the information presented.

Proposals

The proposal tab is where you can effortlessly create custom proposals tailored to you and your client's needs, all within minutes. Not sure where to start on your proposal? No worries! If you’re a Wethos Pro user, you get unlimited access to our extensive collection of premium templates for projects in marketing, production, design, web development, and more to help you scope and pitch faster.

As you go through the proposal process, you may find that you need to make changes or updates to your scope even after it’s been signed by your client. Wethos allows you to easily accommodate changes to your scope, even after your proposal has been signed. You can edit a signed proposal, and we'll automatically create a new amended version for you to resend for signature while keeping track of the previously signed version(s). You’ll be able to find all versions of your proposals in the Proposals tab of your project.

Invoices

Getting paid for the work you do is important and our Invoice section of each project ensures that you're always aware of what’s been paid or what’s outstanding. Easily track all invoices related to a specific project by heading over to the Invoice tab. Here, you'll find a similar view as the Invoices page, which provides a clear overview of your invoices. The Project Invoice tab is tailored to display only those invoices connected to the selected project, keeping your financial information organized and easily accessible.

With this tab, you can keep an eye on paid invoices, identify overdue payments, and even generate new invoices for the project. It's a hassle-free way to manage your project's financial flow.

Budget

Money matters and the Budget tab is where you can take control of your project's financial planning. Manage the budget for the project, including your business margin and your own pay. It's a central hub that helps you keep track of your earnings, ensuring you're always aware of your financial health.

If your project involves a team, Wethos has you covered. On this tab, you can invite your teammates to collaborate seamlessly on the project. Not only can you allocate a budget for their pay, but you can also record the payments. All updates will be automatically adjusted on your budget graph to keep track of your project budget.
