IMPORTANT NOTICE: On May 14th, 2024 all Wethos Payments Accounts will be closed as we are transitioning to a new form of payment acceptance for your invoices. Once closed features such as debit cards, account statements, account transfers, and account and routing numbers will no longer be available. On May 14th, the Payments Tab will also no longer be available. Please download your account statements or CSVs before this date and make any withdrawals of the funds in your account. If there are any funds left in the account, they will be mailed to you within 30-60 days of account closure. You can learn more about this in our featured Help Center article HERE.

Most of the time, applications for a Wethos Payments Account are approved within minutes. However, occasionally our banking and payments partners, Blue Ridge Bank N.A. and Stripe, might require some additional information or documentation for verification. If your application for a Wethos Payments Account requires additional documents, this article will help you understand what is needed and how you can submit the documents to make sure that your application can be approved.

When you submit an application for a Wethos Payments Account and additional documentation is required, you will receive a message from our team to let you know what is needed.

How to upload documents

If you do receive a notification from us to let you know additional documents are required for your Wethos Payments Account application, you can easily upload your documents from within the platform. Here’s how to upload them:

1. Head over to your Payments tab

2. Read through the pop-up telling you what type of document(s) need to be submitted. You can review the list below for a full list of documents accepted

3. Once you’ve added the documents, go ahead and hit submit! Your application will continue through the review process and we’ll let you know once it’s approved

What to do if my document is rejected

Sometimes our banking partner may reject a document you’ve submitted. This can be caused by things such as mismatching information, poor quality, the incorrect document was submitted, etc.

When this happens, you’ll receive a notification from us letting you know that your document was rejected and that you’ll need to resubmit a new document. You can head over to the Payments tab to re-submit your document(s). Once you’ve done so, your application can continue through the review process.
